A good seafood restaurant would be great, as well and a well established fine dining steakhouse would be great, like a Ruth Chris. A small local chain like Jake’s hamburgers or Mi Cocina or even a Pappa’s restaurant is fine, but the usual Brinker type restaurants are not exciting and not even very good. We have way too many Chili’s-type of restaurants. I would love to see both casual and fine dining at Lakeside DFW, with an emphasis on non-chain type of restaurants. Would also enjoy a craft beer restaurant/bar. Would love to see a fresh juice spot (like Pure in Southlake). Nice patios, sushi, no more pizza, bbq, french, seafood Special consideration should be given to businesses that support the local craft brew and local food movement scene. Taco diner, and a seafood restaraunt would be great. Not everyone in a lake community is wealthy. It’s also be nice if it wasn’t all crazy upscale over expensive places. If you’re going to be this close to the lake you have to have awesome outside options for dining/mingling/dancing etc. Something unique that covers all meals thru out the day including awesome happy hour venues. It’d be nice to have places that aren’t copies of every other upscale enclave in DFW. Jakes hamburgers, village burger bar (already in two similar mixed use concept evelopments), coal vines (pizza), grimaldis (pizza) Torchy’s tacos, Bread Winners, Chuy’s, PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, Papasitos, Whiskey Cake, Trader Joes Seasons 52, Kona Grill, Corner Bakery, Sushi Need a restaurant that does not cater to kids Saint Ann’s, Dallas – good food, great patio. Tired of the same small restaurants in the Flower Mound area, etc. Would love a Bread Winners or similiar type cafe. Zizikis, brio, pita jungle, dream cafe, flying saucer, j Macklins High End Sports Bar experience like BJ Steakhouse would be perfect I would also like to see a local Italian restaurant I am excited for the grand openings!!!Īrtin’s (Shops of Legacy), Jaspers. Suggested restaurants to emulate: fast casual – Zoe’s, casual – Hillstone, Kenney’s Wood Fired Grill and fine dining – The Mercury, Bar – Cru, micro brewery or similar to Hillstone. A large bar area allows for people to gather. The dining scene should focus on local Chef’s with a national reputation for quality and innovation. Grapevine has the cowboy / Texas theme covered. Please do not bring in the big box restaurant chains. Would love to have some uptown style restraint/bars with patios. HG Supply, Celebration are two great examples.īlue mesa grill, some sort of seafood place where you can sit out on the water, Margaritaville, Ruth’s Chris, Bucca de Peppa, La Hacienda RanchĬhuy’s, cheddar’s, steak house of some kind Price is less important to our family than local/natural choices. We shop at Sprouts because of the quality of what we get. I would like to see a restaurant that offers fresh, healthy choices made with hight quality food. It would be great if one of those is present here. There are no good Thai, Mediterranean, Indian or Chinese restaurants here in Flower Mound today. Old Chicago Pasta and Pizza (), Houston’s, Firerock SteakhouseĬarraba’s, Panera, Noodles & Co., Cafe Express Having spent much of my career in hospitality, this is exactly the kind of area I would consider for any number of concepts. A previous comparison to Bishop Arts is well-placed I think that sort of concept would draw a whole other demographic that this area seems to lack. There are plenty of the standard chain restaurants available in the surrounding area. I would very much like to see locally owned, quality (not necessarily high-end) restaurants and related facilities. La Hacienda Ranch, Ruth Chris, Del Frisco, Silver Fox, Anamias, Corner bakery, Brio Something with good old fresh Gulf seafood and Oysters. Would love a Hook Line and Sinker or AW Shucks. Houston’s, Trader Joes, Cool river, Tokyo one, Texas de Brazil Looking for some fun non chain restaurants to enjoy and relax close to the lake Taco Diner, Patrizios, Zoe’s Kitchen, iFratelli, Corner Bakery, Fireside Pies Roots Coffeehouse, Beth Marie’s Ice Cream, Chuy’s, Sprinkles Cupcakes/Ice Cream, Potbelly, Chipotle Need a really good creperie – oh for the day’s of the Magic Pan, Dallas! Total as of August 20: 692.Ī great place to have Chicago-style food since there are many of us that live in the metroplexĪrea has a need for a good tavern and some fine dining restaurantsĬhuy’s, Fireside Pies, Velvet Taco, Torchy’s Tacos–Flower Mound people aren’t going to drive to Southlake, PF Chang’s–again, we not driving to Grapevine for that–too farĬheesecake Factory, Mignon (Plano), Sfuzzi. 10, 2014, approximately 230 new responses were completed.
